OUTAGE MAPWe’re here to help. Big Bend Electric Cooperative members should use the following steps to report an outage.
- Check your fuses or breakers to make sure the problem is not with your own equipment.
- Look around your neighborhood and see if other homes or businesses are out of power.
- Report your outage immediately. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the number below.
CALL TO REPORT AN OUTAGE:

Do not use social media or email to report an outage as these are not monitored 24/7.
- Be prepared to give the name and account number that appears on your bill.
- Your account number identifies the location of your electrical account on BBEC’s system.
- If you have any information about the cause of the outage, such as a tree or limb on the line or broken pole, etc., please give that information as well.
- This information will assist our service personnel in restoring your service quickly.
STAY SAFE
- Stay away from power lines on the ground. Always assume downed lines are energized even if the lines are sagging, broken or on the ground.
- Report downed lines immediately.
- Call 9-1-1 if there is immediate danger.
