LIHEAP (Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program) is a federally funded program available to assist low-income eligible households with energy costs, bill assistance, energy crisis assistance, weatherization and energy-related home repairs.
Reduce your monthly bills and improve the energy efficiency of your home by making weatherization improvements to insulation, doors, windows and HVAC systems. Co-op members that qualify as low-income could be eligible to receive these upgrades at no cost. Even renters can apply!
